The first organ installed in a major leauge ball field, was at EBBETS FIELD, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Glady Gooding began her musical career as a piano player for silent movies, and also played organ for ice-hockey games in the old Madison Square Garden. When the final game played at EBBETS FIELD, was completed, a very tipsey Gladys Gooding, played aund lang syne, and the Brooklyn Dodgers moved to Los Angeles, CA.
